Intro to Jiu-Jitsu
This introduction to Jiu Jitsu class is designed to welcome the beginning student into the world of grappling. Its primary focus is on teaching the fundamental movements and positions so new students can transition confidently into the Basic class.

This class is designed to give students a solid understanding of the core techniques of Jiu-Jitsu, Jiu-Jitsu specific conditioning, body movement and self-defense.
The curriculum includes the most commonly encountered self defense scenarios and the techniques needed to deal with them. The course is taught with a revolving curriculum cycling through the most essential Jiu Jitsu techniques.
It is an open class for all skill levels.
This class focuses on transitions and combinations, as well as more advanced movements and techniques that address scenarios which occur less often in an attack with and untrained opponent including sparring with strikes both standing and grappling. Class begins with a warm-up, and ends with situational drilling.
This is a closed class. You must rank Blue belt or above to attend.
No Gi Jiu Jitsu
This class is Jiu-Jitsu practiced without the traditional uniform, Kimono or Gi. In this class aspects of submission grappling as well as wrestling are merged with Jiu Jitsu concepts of positional strategy and movement.
Live sparring and drilling is included at the end of every class.
**Our school requires a combatives belt or higher to participate in these classes.
During open mat students drill, train, and spar with other members to improve physical performance and increase technical ability. Students can train with or without the kimono during open mat.
For students from 8–16 years of age that have under 18 months of Jiu-Jitsu/grappling experience. This class is designed for the maturing child to young adult, and encompasses the basic fundamental techniques of Jiu-Jitsu.
Sparring is introduced in this class under the close supervision of the instructor. Note that we do our best not to let children get overwhelmed by bigger more mature children by pairing similar size and age groups.
This class is an open class for the appropriate aged child.
This course is designed for children aged 6-8. The Kids class incorporates strength and conditioning, to keep your child strong and healthy. The class has a high emphasis placed on anti bullying techniques and confidence building.
A qualified instructor, in terms understood by kids, teaches the class. Finally, functional games provide the fun, and are an important part of our Kids class curriculum.
